Turn 3 Motorsport Enters Round 4 Of Radical Cup At PIR

Rookie Team Continues to Second Half of the Season as Championship Leaders

Turn 3 Motorsport will compete at Portland International Raceway this weekend for Round 4 of the Blue Marble Cocktails Radical Cup North America. The rookie team will enter the second half of the season as the points leaders in the 1340 class, 1500 class, team championship, and outright driver’s championship. Driving the #10 T3M/Eastern Shipping SR3 RSX 1500 car is Antoine Comeau, a former Radical Cup champion and the current outright championship leader. With seven race wins and two second place finishes under his belt, Comeau will go into this weekend looking to extend his points lead and earn three more top place finishes.

Driving the #20 T3M/Eastern Shipping SR3 RSX 1340 car is Eric Wagner, a series veteran and the current 1340 class championship leader. Wagner’s resume thus far includes three podium finishes and three pole positions as well as two additional top five finishes. His consistency throughout the first half of the season has earned him a comfortable lead in the 1340 class championship which he hopes to maintain after this weekend.

“I’m looking forward to the second half of the Radical Cup season,” said Team Owner Peter Dempsey. “Both Eric (Wagner) and Antoine (Comeau) have had a great first half of the season with both of them leading their championships. The goal for the remainder of the season is for both drivers to keep raising their levels and finish out the season stronger than we started it. Portland International Raceway is a new track for both drivers which is great as it is a new challenge for them which will help their driver development heading into 2020.”
