Total Control Product’s (TCP) factory-fit motor mounts are polyurethane-bushed motor-mount assemblies for 1965-70 Mustangs, 1967-70 Cougars and 1960-65 Falcon and related models are a great after-market choice.
TCP’s original and proven double-shear, through-bolt design eliminates any chance of motor-mount separation with high-performance Ford small-block or big-block engines. Moveable shims are used to vary the fore/aft position of the motor within a 1/2” range centered at the stock position. This method allows adjustment for exhaust headers or cooling fans without weakening the motor mounts.
Each mount features graphite impregnated polyurethane bushings with a seamless internal sleeve and external housing. Transferred vibration is increased over factory levels but without the harshness commonly found using completely solid mounts. The welded assembly features heavy-duty motor plates (big-block, 1/4”-thick; small-block, 3/8”-thick) with a 3/16”-wall, tubular bushing housing.
Frame adapter plates are 1/4” thick with slotted motor mount holes to make allowance for chassis variances and simplify installation. Mounts are black powder coated with zinc-plated frame adapters and included Grade 8 mounting hardware.
